My journey home
My husband and I have spent 15 years building our life together since growing up on the Gulf Coast, navigating through seasons of grief, loss, and the joyous arrival of our children. After losing our first son in 2018, I have learned to find hope in difficult transitions, from relocating to starting anew. These personal milestones allow me to be a grounded, empathetic listener who adapts to your unique journey with deep understanding. Today, I draw on all I’ve walked through to support you as you find a place to call home.
Home has a feeling
I didn't realize how much I'd miss the soul of home until I was gone. It wasn't just the family meals; it was the easy rhythm of life, the short commutes, having a yard to call my own, and the genuine way neighbors look out for one another. Returning to Alabama wasn't a backup plan—it was my ultimate goal.
What I didn’t expect to miss
Living elsewhere gave me a fresh perspective on what makes our state special. I’ve compared the costs and felt the uncertainty of moving first-hand. I created this site to answer the real questions outsiders ask, providing an honest, unvarnished look at what it’s actually like to live here.
